End of year letter from WorkWithPlus
A letter dedicated to our readers, clients, distributors and users, from our CCO, Sofia Maiolo, on behalf of the entire team, and in gratitude for this 2025 that we shared together.

I wanted to write to you now that the year is starting to slow down, because the end of 2025 feels like a great moment to pause, look back on what we’ve accomplished, and above all, say thank you. At WorkWithPlus, it has been a very intense year, full of change and learning experiences, and I wanted to share with you some of the key milestones that shaped this journey.
Without a doubt, one of the main highlights of the year was WorkWithPlus 16. More than an update, it represented a major leap forward in flexibility and power, designed to help development teams build the modern GeneXus applications that today’s market demands. We released the first (and only) Angular pattern in the GeneXus community, introduced a new Design System, enhanced the WorkWithPlus AI module, and added many improvements focused on simplifying adoption—such as migrators from other patterns and enhancements to template workflows to ease the transition from Win to Web, among others.
From a community perspective, we experienced a key moment with the arrival of GeneXus Next. We are truly excited about what this new stage represents. WorkWithPlus was the first platform in the GeneXus community to be available back in March, and since then we have continued to release new versions with increased functionality and power. We believe this is a great time to explore it and start building AI-assisted developments, applications with generative capabilities, and agentic components that open up a new way of developing. And for now, you can use WorkWithPlus on GeneXus Next completely free of charge.

Beyond the technical side, this year we also took an important step forward commercially. We launched a new model designed to better support our customers, with greater flexibility and alignment with the different stages and needs of each project. The community’s response has been very positive, and we believe it can help you take your developments to the next level. If you’re not familiar with it yet, you can explore it here, and of course I’d be happy to discuss it with you whenever you’d like.
Our commitment goes far beyond offering a solid platform. We invest a great deal of energy in building community, fostering collaboration, and supporting the growth of our customers and partners. Throughout 2025, we participated in events around the world, from Japan to several countries across Latin America. Every face-to-face meeting with the community is special; personally, it’s one of the parts I enjoy the most and where the best ideas always emerge.
It was also a very active year in terms of training. We held numerous webinars, workshops, and courses, and we are proud to have surpassed 500 professionals certified in WorkWithPlus during 2025. In addition, we launched a new course, WorkWithPlus Senior, which joins WorkWithPlus Core, UX Specialist, and the WorkWithPlus AI workshop. You can now check the 2026 course schedule here.
We closed the year in a very special way with WorkWithPlus Week—a full week of activities designed to inspire us and stay closely connected with you.

Looking ahead, we are very excited about what 2026 has in store. We have a very comprehensive roadmap, which you can review here, with many new features designed to further enhance GeneXus developments.
Before wrapping up, thank you for taking the time to read all the way through. I apologize for the length of this message; I felt that the end of the year deserved sharing these milestones and learnings that we have built together throughout 2025.
